Thread: Only 1 wiper works (Passenger)

The other day both wipers were working yesterday on the way home. This morning I turn them on and only the passenger side kept going. Now, I can manually move the driver side wiper when the car is on or off. The passenger side wiper is in it's normal position. What happened?

could only be a couple things...
The nut is loose, splines stripped,or linkage broke.
You will have to remove the cowl to check the linkage.

Linkage was broke. Need new linkage arms and the assembly (that connects to the wiper arm) since we had to cut off the rusted bolts holding it to the car. Know any sites that sell the assembly?

I can look at my parts car if you want.Otherwise try gregv,he can prolly get it.

There were certain B14 years that were replaced under a recall.

$104 from the dealer, have to back order and wait from their shop down in California. Thanks for the offer though.
