Yes.. The FSM states .45 -.55 on SR20DE's
ODB1..
Yours is probably different for
ODB2.
A long time ago when I first started tuning my NX, I also found this TPS info on
Se-R.Net and found the idle was much smoother with the .45 w/throttle closed (as mine was set at .49). I have tried other settings: IIRC-around .48 caused bogging takeoffs from stoplights, .52 caused sluggishness attaining higher speeds, .55 gave me starting issues. So from my experience, lower TPS closed settings worked best.
You have a much greater range.. I would try different settings and see the results. The changes will a direct impact how the ECU calculates & navigates thru the maps.

edit: ok i re-read my post.. it's a dumb question maybe but what i meant was... is the difference between adjusting it at like .35 or .45 or .50 really make a difference in real world?.... whats the best settings for both CLOSED & OPEN? thanx
Closed settings:
Yes it really makes a difference in the real world.. The changes will impact your idle, and how the ECU calculates & navigates thru the maps which has a direct difference in throttle response, gas mpg usage, etc.
Just try different settings for a few days each. You will be surprised as it will be quite noticable.
WOT settings:
The WOT setting is controlled using the Throttle adjustment screw located beside the throttle cable connection. It controls the
stop on the butterfly. The actual TPS screws are only loosed (& slightly turn the TPS) to set the TPS for
Closed throttle setting.
Im not sure of the WOT settings. The ECU can only read the TPS signals up to a certain voltage.
If its over that voltage (> 4.0v), Im not sure what it does:
Does it use a special default range?
Does it go just use its highest map values?
Or does it maybe go into some kinda highend default mode??
This would be a good question for someone like Calum...
