starter ground wire?!?!
Guys, I just finished replacing my rear coolant hose...had a leak...But now, putting the starter back in which should be a SIMPLE TASK is a nightmare. The ground wire that connects to the starter seems to have completely disappeared on us. Where's it lead? I'm tracing it there in hopes of finding it again. This is crazy. Need an answer ASAP as my car is on stands right now...

anyone? Sorry, I'm impatient and a little stressed. I don't know how the hell you just lose your ground wire. It's supposed to be dangling there with the power connector, the electrical plug, etc. What the hell is going on?

Its a 8awg wire that goes into the main harness. It does go to a plug on that V shaped support. should be back there somewhere.

It should be dangling someplace around there, as far as I recall you had to bolt it down, thus it should have a round ring.

As many pictures as I took, I can't believe I can't find one from the starter .

I'm a moron. The starter ground wire connects from the starter motor to the solenoid. The starter is grounded by being bolted to the block. For some reason I thought there was a seperate wire going to it. Owned!
