Yup, I remember them being so long that my hand was getting tired from fitting and wrenching them in.

Can you see the backs of the starter bolts protruding out of the threaded holes in the starter? Because they should have a mm or two sticking out.

Alright how long do you want it for, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or, 1 year?

When I did my clutch there was 5 bolts on the rear mount/bracket. One was huge just like in your pic. I have a g20 but should be the same or close. I can post up a "FAST" diagram for that bracket showing the bolts if anyone wants but not until tonight since FAST is installed at home and I'm at work.

BTW are you sure it's not the starter bolt? JK

Check the rear mount again, you should have 5 bolts total for this mount.

1 X M12 w/o washer - This goes through the bracket, the block and into the trans
3 X M10 - These go through the mount bracket into the trans, one is very short and hidden in the mount. I think the bolt you are missing is one of the two long bolts.
1 X M10 - This goes through the mount bracket and through the motor mount on the crossmember.

There is also one additional M12 bolt with a washer that goes through the block into the trans, this does not touch the mount.

my rear doesn't have a point, the tranny mount on the side has it though.

I didn't realize he said it was left over from a clutch job. Guess the alternator is not it after all.

What are you talking about? I take my alternator off every time I do my clutch! It's a rule of thumb, isnt it?
