Where does this bolt go?
I'm usually pretty good about getting bolts back in the right spot but when I changed the clutch out yesterday, this one bolt was left over.

Can anyone identify it for me? It appears to be a 14mm head, although I have not verified for sure.

yep probably starter. is a a 14 mm?? most of the tranny bolts are 17 and there are two 14 mm bolts that are used for the starter

He told me he has the starter bolts on for sure. The other 14mm ones are on the bottom of the engine/transmission joint.
Then it could be for the rear engine mount by the fire wall. There's a few there, and one of them is deep in the bracket and easy to miss (but not going to be 5" long...).

Then there's the driver's side transmission mount with 3 of those bolts.

Anything I miss?

yeah your right. but i dont think that hidden bolt is that long on braket side on the tranny. but it could be the rear engine mount bolt then again my tranny mount bolt has a point at the end...

the 3 transmission bolt arnt that long either from what i remember

I'm gonna guess it goes through the rear mount, just by seeing the length of the bolt. Possibly just mounting the bracket to the tranny.

It is not the rear mount, I kno for a fact because i just got done with my 3rd sr20 tranny/clutch swap.

The rear mount bolts are no longer than 3.5"

It has to be the starter bolts, there is no way it could be anything else.
