Well the Ati crank pulley will not be the reason your engine breaks, ya, and people have got by with a UR crank pulley, but maybe they had received a better balanced pulley, or maybe there certain setup, was very well balanced, most people that have tried to run higher HP levels with UR type crank pulleys, 300+ have had issues with them, I would rather spend the $400 on the ATI, and not worrier that my crank pulley might break my $5000+ engine rebuild!

Your right, just keep your stock crank pulley, if you don't want to spend the money on the ATI, it is mostly for high HP output.
