Thread: Fan Controller and ECU question

Calum was saying that the fan controller part of my ECu is dead. Until I get that back from Calum I need to have something working in case I get stuck in traffic.

2 questions.

1.) Does anyone have any fan controller recommendations? I've been eyeballing the DiF Dual Fan Controller Version B : Universal - Enjuku Racing Parts, but am open to other suggestions.

2.) My A/C isn't working either. Is that controlled by part of the fan controller section of the ECU? (An electronics/ecu junky will have to answer this one).

i would say yes if your a/c doesn't work.

IIRC the compressor is controlled by the ecu and so are the fans, but i may be wrong

Blair, I would also say yes. I would try to pickup another ECU from the Classified section.
Is the P10 an automatic? If so, you must get an auto 93 ECU as the 93 Auto ECUs are very different from 91/92 & 94 ECUs.

you can hook the fan up manualy with a off on switch, until you get another ecu... better safe then sorry..
