The SAFC and the VAFC are different. I made a thread about this a while back and nobody seemded to have any real info on them. I can tell you though that maxima guys are using the VAFC to tune there cars and it is working for them.

THe difference between the VAFC, SAFC, and SAFC NEO is:

Neo-is an SAFC and VAFC in one. The neo can be setup to use on maf cars, map cars, ect

VAFC- setup to only be used on hondas with a map sensor. But the maxima guys are maf and they seem to be able to use the VAFC for a cheap tune.

SAFC- this is the regular thing people use to tune there car. It has no Vtec/vvl engagement stuff so that you can change the point obviously. But it can tune pretty much any car.

I actually had the VAFC2 and was gonna throw it on my VE car. I sold that to a local Maxima guy and bought an SAFC Neo and then sold the car. So now im just gonna use the Neo on my S2000. I have an SAFC in the NX if that helps. But just get a NEO. Itll make life easier. Also, search in my old threads here. I made a thread about this and I remember somebody had posted up saying that they were successfully using a VAFC2 in there car to tune AND set the VVL points (I think)
