hmm interesting i thought the were using the honda wiring harness, i figured it would be easier to use the honda harness, then just find the pinout for the ecu power, ecu power on, ground, pinout for the tach, and find the pinout for the CEL, or maybe it would be easiest to just make a jumper like scotty was talking bout

I would hold out for the Calum. This seems like a recipe for an electrical disaster.

I hope you're not calling this a hack job that someone decided would be cool. The people that are doing this are a few of the smartest people I have ever met and since a lot of thier business will depend on the outcome of these few cars, I doubt they will cut corners

Please PM your contact info. I have some questions regarding a few things about the donor car & setup in the video.

It doesn't really seem like that much of a nightmare....A little bit of extra work but I can see some advantages to a honda ecu so it may be worth it.

I don't see anywhere in his post that he was refering to the shop you are taking your car to. He was speaking in general.

I still stick to my previous comment. I know the labor on this has to be costly plus all the parts that need to be purchased. I say just buy a standalone at this point. Hell you can run the OEM harness with an AEM and the tuning advantages are far superior to any OEM ECU.
