Thread: What to do?

Hey everyone, i don't know what to do with my 200. I let somone borrow my car for a few days, it came back on a trailer. It was running hot, they went for coolant and it died on them. All i know is there was coolant in the spark plugs. I got $500 to work with what do i do? i am open to suggestions.

sounds like a headgasket problem

+1 Blown head gasket.

if engine overheated, dont waste your time.
Just get a new engine $250-$350.

x2 350 get u the whole shabang, if the headgasket went and the car over heated too much than the head might be warped

Depends on the condition of your motor before you lent it out.

If you have anything done with the bottom end, or the head, (performance wise) pull the head and replace it with another one from here. I've seen lowport heads go CHEAP around here. Just swap your stuff over to the new head, replace headgasket, and go.

If it's just stock, nothing done to it, replace the whole motor. Cheap enough. Just keep in mind what motor you plan on replacing it with, as you may encounter more issues than you think (for instance, if you replace the motor with a highport motor, you'll need to do more than just swap in and go.)

the engine in the car will not crank over, found a complete engine for $600

complete engine ... does it look exactly the same?
