What is the weather like in TN?
I LOVE my Azenis, they make cars that are slow fun! If I could drive them year round I would. For winters I have some Goodyear snow tires which suck on pavement but do well in snow ice and water.

I've been real happy with the BFG G-force Sports. They stick like glue and wear evenly. They are summer tires but I've been OK when caught in a light snow.
Best of all I get 205/50/15 for 83.00 per tire installed at Costco when they have a sale. I think they are one of BFG's best kept secrets.

The weather is good here. We get a snow maybe every three years. We had maybe 30 days of rain all this year...

While I have very limited experience with tires. I love my Toyo Proxie 4's. After reading mixed reviews, I went with them because they are relatively cheap. Well as I said, not used to many tires, but I love them with my ve. Never had them break loose on a turn and if they start to loose it, the loss is progressive.

They don't make much noise, and definitely not as noisy as Azenis, however arguably less sticky. After one summer of intense usage the fronts still have a season of front use on them....

My snow tires break loose anytime in 1st-2nd gear. The Toyo's barley/rarely spun in 1st, and sometimes barked into 2nd. Btw, pretty quite under slippage, no loud squeals..great for street/autox.
