Thread: missing some bolt..

first the one that goes into the tranny from the block side, right under the starter.. it holds that bracket to the engine/tranny..

my buddy took it off and i can not find it.. i have alot of spare bolts but not 1 will fit..

same with the 2 that go into the tranny on the very very bottom of the engine

i have a pic of the first one mentioned..



i dont have pics of the other 2 but they go in from the engine side into the tranny, they're 14mm

if anyone could hook me up with these bolts for free/cheap i'd appriciate it.. or atleast maybe know the size/thread type..

I believe that the one in the pic is the same as the tranny bolts on the front... 17mm head. pull one of those out of the front and try it. You can head down to napa and pic one up. I think that the other ones you're talking about are 10x1.25 pitch bolts, only about 20-30mm long. try some other 14mm head bolts in there, and when you find one that threads, go get a short version of that. they don't do much down there, so you should be ok without them anyway. Of course that assumes I'm picturing the right bolts.

u know i thought the same thing, so i tried one of the tranny bolts from the front side.. wouldnt thread in.. like it was too big.. i have soo many spare bolts cause this engine came with a auto trans an stuff... an i cant get anything to thread in there..

as for those lower bolts im sure i will figure those out..
