I would go with pointless to an extent. I modded mine because I was planning on a manual swap later. I had I/E/H UR pullies and S4 cams. It ran great, plenty of power down low after bumping the timing up. That is until the tranny took a dump, so I did the 5 speed swap sooner than planned. The auto trannies fail even with stock hp pretty early, so why push it? I would not throw any money into an auto tranny.

Alright thanks for the input guys. I think I'm just going to try to order one of the grounding kits in the Group Buy section since people say it helps A/T shift faster and it's helps with the overall car. I'm thinking about just picking up an ebay header since their 2.25" and I think the 1st and 2nd gen HS headers are 2" IIRC. Would I feel a difference with a bigger header or not ? I forgot to mention that I bumped my timing to 17 already.

Like mentioned before, get the manual swap, will do more than any one thing you can do besides turbo or VE.

as far as a grounding kit, they are a joke. You can buy some wire and do your own for half the price with minimal if any gains.

Haha, yeah after looking at the wire kit. I decided to just make it myself.

yeah, what everyone else has said, spend that money on a 5spd swap. I've done it, and the difference is amazing. If it was a race between an auto sr20 car with cams, cai, header, exhaust vs. a bone stock sr20 5spd. I would put my money on the 5spd
