Are the gains worth the money ?
Ok, so I know that people get different results as far as cams go since everyone is running a different set-up. What I'm running right now is a
98' SR20 with 1st or 2nd Gen HS Header, JWT Pop-Charger, 2" Stromung Cat-Back, and 91' intake cam. I also have have an A/T. I'm planning to get
some BC Stage 2 cams since I can't find any S3's or S4's in the For Sale section.

My question is will there be a noticeable difference between the 91' cam vs the
BC cams with the set-up that I have now?

My car is mainly a DD and I don't plan on going to a track anytime soon. I just want to add a little more to my car.

Thanks for any input.

Yeah I know. But with BC2's basically being half the price their pretty tempting. And since it's just a DD I'm not really trying to throw too much money into my car. I just want it to keep the neighborhood kids at bay with their self-proclaimed powerful " Scion TCs "

If your talking about redline then I think it's the same as a M/T. If not then I have no clue

Redline is the same as the manual. Instead of spending your money on cams, I would do a 5speed swap. You can get all the parts for under $500 and it will make a hell of alot more difference than going from a highport cam to the BC stage 2's.

well my g20 auto i think only went to 6800...so that means without cam gears, I think that you would only gain power from 5-6800 (someone correct me if I am wrong). If it were me I would wait for some used s3's or just leave the 91 intake cam.

Wow, I didn't notice the A/T until now. Don't get the BC2's. They will basically be useless in your auto car. The auto ECU will own them. Your car will run sluggish.

Will S3's be better with an A/T. Or is it really pointless to mod an A/T car in the first place.
