neways yeah im gonna pick up a set although its weird that he found the part numbers to be the same, i guess the only way is to pull them from a rr motor itself. But hey i dont mind cuz yeah at high rpm's if they basicly turn to solid lifters with that much oil pressure ill be good to go and wont have to worry about it which is what im after.


The part numbers are the same because they have updated sooo many times that you can only buy the newer style lifters new. Nissan will not sell you the older style lifters.

I have probobly 5-6 different TYPES of Hyd lifters in my possession and several sets of the newer ones.

You need to remember that when you check those parts catalogs, you are not looking for the ORIGINAL PARTS the car was built with, but the NEW REPLACEMENT PARTS.

true, greg mentioned that the reason why he thought they were the same was because the nissan part number looked like a very old style part number. But yeah i mean the last time the made a rr was 2002 so that was still a while ago. Thanks guys
