When the rotor is under the caliper it is actually very hard to tell it is not contacting the surface properly. I had never seen an nx2k rotor in person, and I trusted the parts store to give me the right part silly me

Well I hope this will help anyone looking to by new rotors from Napa.
When looking on their site, they have two different rotors for the NX, and one is $22 with a 9.835 diamater. They carry another that is $32, that is 10.125 in diamater. I realize this has already been noticed by many.
When I purchased the rotors I actually researched this, and was aware they sold the wrong sizes. However I remember now they were still considerably larger then my stock B13 rotors, so stupid me, I assumed they were proper.

Here is an old photo for your viewing pleasure.

the jack offs at les schwab put some funky rotors/breaks on my b13 se-r that did the same thing your talkin about.. the ex's mom was drivin the car when the ex owned it at the break pads were so far gone they literally fell out of the calipers so she had to take it to them..

FYI, the correct Napa part # for NX2K rotors is NB 4886280 for $31.99 each.

If you have NX calipers, then order brakes for a 91 EAGLE TALON OR MITSU ECLIPSE GSX. They use the same AD22 Brake calipers. This will save you from the parts-confusion and can possibly save your life, especially if the wrong pads are accidentally installed.

I just used the abs model and I got them right twice in a row. First set got warped somehow when I went to brake the pads in. I only pad like $22 a rotor.

When ordering NX2000 brakes, you must alwasys say you have a Japan made NX2000 with ABS. This is the only way you will get the right pads.

Also please remove the SER pads before something bad happenes. When the pads get low they will fall out and leave you with no brakes. If you want confermation on this as Serban.

Seriously, that's gonna become an unsafe situation. Don't wait til they wear down, it's worth the few bucks to prevent a catastrophe. Get after it, especially if it's apart!
