Why you shouldn't trust Napa rotors.
I am in the process of pulling my car apart this weekend for some much needed maintenance, and UPgrades.

Well after pulling the pads out of my nx2k calipers, (Axis metal masters) I noticed something funny, the pad had not entirely been contacting the rotor. There is about a .5mm ridge on the top of the pad, I would say %5 of the contact area of the pad was not even touching the rotor...

I specifically asked for nx2k rotors, looks like I got the Sentra rotors.

I also noticed some rotors on an nx2k recently, the rotors looked twice as thick.

Pics to come.

Vent over.

You'd have been better off ordering them through Bill (Curly) @ Morong.

That sucks.

Rock Auto posts measurements on the different rotor options. I <3 Rock Auto.

And for what it's worth, every other parts place does the same thing. It's up to us to be educated consumers on this one.

I bought two sets of Brembo blanks from Nopi for the AD22s. All were correct for me. The difference between rotors are drastic and very noticeable.

I believe the difference between the two rotors is ~.3 inches. The thickness diff. is about 6mm.

Hopefully you can get it replaced due to their error.

So instead of blaming it on Napa parts, why don't you blame it on the idiot that didn't order you the right stuff? I've been using Napa rotors for 10+ years and have purchased multiple sets of NX2K rotors there without issue. You should be an informed consumer and aware of what your purchasing.

yeah i bought some EBC pads that i ordered as Japan nx2000 pads and i got Sentra pads.

they worked but the pad ddnt contact the whole rotor. oh well when these pads wear down i'll order some axxis pads from Greg

honestly i blame it on you for not knowing the diffrence between the 2 rotors. its pretty huge diffrence.. I belive they have the wrong part numbers just like autozone and advance auto parts and every other damn place that we can get rotors from. you have to get it with abs because i had the same problem with NaPa when i went to order mine. But it was not the parts guys fault its who ever came up with the part numbers for our cars...of course i realize they were not the right ones as soon as i saw the box....

would se-r rotors even fit under NX2k calipers? properly?

they are tiny compared to the nx rotors so idk how you dont pick up on that. It would be such a huge gap in between the calipers.
