Thread: SAFC start up problem

see the thing is my mom bought it on dec for christmas....now 3 monthsd later im installiign it....now it doesnt ALL work and the seller is actully telling me to send it back to him and he will issue a refund via paypal....

this guy so far is one of the best ebay sellers ive delt with so far....

First off, I'm sorry to hear that and I understand how you feel. But that unit was removed in working condition from the car and packed for sale right away. Not to mention the unit was sold back in December of 08 and now nearly 3 months later you contact me about it. Consider how I'd feel when a customer waited this long to file a complaint about a defective item? How am I suppose to know you didn't short it out while installing it?

To make this fair for both of us, feel free to mail the defective unit to me, and I'll refund the $200 via paypal and each of us can take a loss in Paypal fees and shipping fees. Check my feed back, I do NOT sell defective items. Maye it was damage in transit, maybe it got short out, who knows. 3 months is a long time my friend.

Let me know what you decide. But know this: last thing I want to do on line is to scam ppl. God knows how many times I've fell victim.


hope i can get this **** done soon... now i have the harness wired in, and the SAFc NOT hooked up. the car starts but doesnt rev past 3k......limp mode is it?

i need to reconnect the MAFS wire dont it?

dude send it back to him let him refund you... but pretty sure it was your error. unless u bought it used.

yes you need to reconnect the maf wire. the limp mode thing does happen.

i dont think it was my error. im pretty good at wiring stuff in cars like guages, amps,and lighting thing. so im not dumb. and i had 3 diffrent wiring diagrams to do it and read like 10 diff posts to wire it ina b13.....and i did by it used.... i just wish that wen i open it up i can see somthin thats not right so i CAN fix it inside and USE the damn thing,....

i talked to the bay seller and has agred to take it back!!! i guess i lose on the shipping but its worth it....

tomorow i gota buddy whos friend has a galant vr4 and were ginna swap safc to see it its TRULY defective. then its back to the seller...


now i have to hunt for another one.....sux
