O2 sensor in OBD1
I would like to know what the symptoms are of a bad O2 sensor in an obd1 Highport are, if any?

If I am correct a bad O2 in OBD1 does not throw a light, So i am just curious as to how you would tell.

Thank you,
-Wes

Bad gas mileage city and especially highway, running rich that you can smell it, blowing brown/black smoke.

my problem =/
Btw I am reading this thread as I am typing this and i am so confused as to which one to get for my OBD1, It seems like you all are referring to OBD2 for your B14's.

Also if I get the 4 wire bosch and it works on my B13 should i just get a grounding terminal/block for my battery and run all my gropunds there to save some hassle?

Any help would be awesome!

Thanks,
-Wes

no, you want it grounded to the ground on the intake manifold.

this is the factory ground location for the ecu and the most suitable spot for in ecu related sensors to be grounded to.

Wes, after some testing DC Scotty and I concluded that even for OBDI the Bosch 15727 will benefit you. Now it mainly helps with people with SS headers, if you have a stock header you probably won't see too better results.

BTW Your links are dead hehe.
