I can pick up the insterts if you have the drill/sink/tap kit. Do you still have that? that's the expensive part, like $100. Seems like a lot for one use!

I had the same issue but was able to use the same size bolts by cleaning up the holes with a tap and buying new OEM bolts. Try it!

I thought about that, but mine are hella messy. I'll snap a pic and maybe you can tell me if they look like yours did?

If it is the front you can just drill it out and use a nut and bolt, if it's the back yea drill and tap larger or run an insert like time sert / helicoil.

yeah i think most of us had tha problem at one point or another. I wish Nissan would have made the holes either more beefier, or used a nut & bolt combo instead.

I just got a larger diameter bolt to go through the front ones, rears are still stock

My front holes got all messed up to. All I did was drill through the frame rail and just use a nut, bolt, and a big washers and it work perfect. It still holding up after like 2 years.

I have had to timesert a bunch of these cars ... Why the G20 missed a shift and broke a bunch of rockers ... rear bolt threads fell out and twisted the engine so it wouldnt shift right .....

New bolts and timesert and away we go ... I get into the habit of antisieze on the bolt threads .... esp on the cars the engines come in and out alot ...

So would you have a tap/drill/seater kit you'd be willing to lend me? I'm glad to pay all shipping and pick up my own inserts, if I could just borrow your tools. Please lmk!
