Thread: were to mount safc b13

were did do any of you dudes mount your safc at?i was thinking of putting it in the topp cennter air vent...any ideas? any pics? i would like to MOUNT it to keep it from being stolen so in the dash, and secured for sure....

Ive had mine in three spots.

^^cool at first. But to flashy and it coverd up the Tach.
Had it where the far left vent is right under it and that was cool but I ended up hating that to cause I had to strugle to see it. Now I have it where my ash tray is and its working out okay. I dont have it mounted on anything so I can move it around when I need to. But it tucks nicely under the ashtray when I want it to stay in one spot.

In my supra I mounted it in the glovebox, which was nice but required a lot of tearing into the dash. the sentra's dash is simpler, so it might be a possibility. In my sentra I always had it on the little platform right in front of the shifter. I cut off one of the back corners, coiled the harness up underneath it, and it looked pretty clean. I dug around but couldn't find a pic of it.

double sided tape stuck to the liding cupholder..

When I had a S-AFC I cut a small hole in the back of my glove box big enough to feed the power chord through. I just left the AFC in my glove box. Really no need to have it out once the car is tuned.

I wish you could just tune it then unplug it and take it out haha

I like the glove box idea.

i am keeping the glove box.... but i think i might take out my center air vents and make a CF trim peice and put it there.....

At least you can leave yours mounted. I store mine inside of the dash now since the car has been broken into twice. Doesn't matter since you only need to see it when tuning anyways.

If I could I would put it where the front vents are. Then you don't have those vents though :/.
