Thread: b13 sr20de swap

Hi everyone i new to this forum. I have some questions. I have a 92 sentra xe.
My friend got in a accident in has 97 sentra se-r. Its totaled. So i wanna swap the motor in my car. I know everything will bolt up. But how would i wire up the
car some i use 97 harness and ecu. He gave me the whole car so i can swap what every parts i need. Thanks any help

The '97 ECU and harness will make it run, but it will always have a CEL due to the '97 being OBD2 having a bunch of emission devices your '92 does not ....It really will not affect the performance, but you will have to live with the CEL .... You may be able to use the '97 Harness with a '92 ish SE-R ECU but I am not 100% sure on that ...
