I don't like them but I am a spirited driver. They do not have stiff side walls at all and I feel like they ruin my handling around turns and such. They are good in the rain and used just as an all season for casual driving they are nice.

My 512s lasted only 18k because of the weird wear, these were taken care of, no burnouts or anything.

The 512s are directional. I'd prefer the 912 because you can rotate them any way I think but I've had a few sets of 512. Its noisy and cheap but there really isn't a better bang for buck tire. The hancook ventus is close too imo.
