Conti Contact extreme are some of the fastest wearing tires I've ever seen for their wear rating. If you don't see snow or ice, the Kuhmo MX's have been excellent except no ice/snow traction at all. Decent wet performance.

IDK if you can get the Goodyear F1 in your size but for the money they have been the best all-around tire I've used, I have them on my G Coupe and their wet performance is outstanding, dry is also excellent, longer wearing than the Michie Pilot Sports they replaced, probably my 2nd choice - but Michies are 20k miles tires.

The Kuhmos have been great for the money, and I've been pretty hard on them.

Funny you mention these. They may be okay for an N/A car, but they absolutely suck as a turbo tire, depending on the pavement you're driving on. They're ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS on concrete, but are pretty damn good on asphalt.

Brigstone RE01-R

Bridgestone RE-11

Best damn tires anywhere. The RE-11 replaces the RE01-R and is slightly better in handling as it has a slightly stiffer side wall.

There is nothing better for street use.

+1 on that. The RE01R's dominated Nats last Fall in SCCA Street tire classes. The RE01R's I couldn't find my size as they were closing them out, the RE-11 I was going to p/u but I couldn't get delivery by date I need before driving down to GA. I really like the look of the RE-11, that will be the tire that replaces my now new Kumho XS's, tires don't last too long with 1-2 autocross events per weekend, a 2000 mile road trip and track day in the middle of it

I ran RE01-Rs on my STI. The RE01-R were better than the original STI tire which is about as good as it gets for tires and the RE01-R works great in the rain.

I have never ever had better tires than the RE01-R so if the RE-11 replaces the RE01-R and is better which it is said to be, then there is no other choice.

Just migrated from Bridgestone Potezena RE010 195/55/15 to Fuzion ZRi 205/50/15 on my NX2000.

My autocross bud will be happy to hear that, he runs his 2004 STi in STU, just picked up a set of the RE01-R's for his. Because he lives in NH and there's still some snow/ice in March, he hasn't swapped wheels so hasn't had a chance to use them yet.

The Kuhmo MX's were pretty good for the money @ <$80/tire when I bought them, the XS is a better and stickier tire, so they'll be good - for the money. The price difference is about 4 Kuhmo XS tires for the cost of 3 Bridgestones in 205/50/15's. Hopefully the XS has a stiffer sidewall than the MX, I felt I had to run higher pressure than I would like to just to keep the shoulder from rolling on autocross days.

Still, I would have paid it for the RE-11's if I could have been sure to get a set by when I needed them - literally Monday or Tuesday to be able to mount them before the following week. It's not like any 180 rated tire is going to last that long anyway, not if you use it for competition.
