Tires
Ok people im about to put some "D's" on my XE and the tires i got the rims with (Nankang) is not gona cut it for me besides almost all are badly used up.
Anyways im looking to buy some new rubber to wrap on my 17's and in the past ive only used Falken 502 and the 512 but found the 502 to be a much better tire esp in wet weather looked alot better too.But in my search ive also found some posible options,Continental conti extreme contact,Yokahama S drive,Nitto NT-450,Dunlop direza dz101 and last but not least Falken fk-452.
I dont really care about dry weather performance but i want great WET weather perfomance, living in New York you spend more time dodging pot holes and driving in the rain,My first car acident happend in the rain (rare 89 accord SE'i) my aunt gave me that car and my ex crashed my Impreza (97 wagon) in 1/2"of snow,But believe it or not both cars had Goodyear eagles on em,So any coments or input will be greatly accepted thanks.

Avoid Nitto 450s like teh plauge!! I had them on my I/H/E DE in my NX and I could light them up if I hit it in first. They seriously suck.

Kumho SPT's... they handle better in the wet than any of the other tires you listed. But, they are no good in snow, period. If you live in an area that experiences freezing temps and/or snow, you'll need a 4 season tire. The 615, SPT and the S. Drive are not four season tires. Take a look at the 912's, I think Falken makes them... good prices, too.

what about these??Tire Details - Discount Tire Direct i have em on my Z32 and i find they are great esp in the twisties and rain but the car is 3300lbs and my XE is 2300lbs,
in the past ive noticed that the weight diff shows in wet VS dry between that and my NX 2600lbs.the heavier car handles better in the wet if my NX hit some heavy rain?? HANG ON!!! thats when i turn into Tommi Makinen.Falken 512's SUCK!!!!

Toyo Proxes 4. Excellent wet and dry tire. I have used it as a rain race tire with good results.
