solid mounting a sr20 engine in my autograss race car
hello guys
is it pos to solid mount my sr20 engine in my ford ka autograss race car.reason i,m asking is that i,m having trouble finding the engine mounts to convert to the ford mounts and as the races only last a few mins and are on grass/mud comfort is not a problam

The only thing you can do is fab them up yourself, no one will do a sr20/ford conversion mount off the shelf. Maybe if you were using a XE or a Zetec, even a B16 might have something but the SR isn't known enough over here.

yeh thanks for that ,thats the way i was going to do it but the mount at the timing end of the engine is a alloy 1 .i'll get round it some how

we made our own solid mounts for the p11 crossmember on the p10 that we take for roadracing (not autocrossing) but we do daily drive it in summer months along with to/from the track

lol.. yup, and we enjoy the 95 g20 on many tracks in the midwest area...

road america, gingerman, grattan, mid ohio, blackhawk, autobahn (all 3 track configurations)
