I no longer want to run the JWT PP because of the stretching cable and out of adjustment issues associated with it.
If I have to go back to a OEM set up then so be it.
What kinds are you guys running and recommend. I am so not a JWT PP fan.

Go with an ACT Heavy Duty Pressure plate. With that pressure plate you can run a stock disc and itll still hold your power and grip good without it being over kill.

The ACT SS Disk is basically a stock disk. They get away with it because of the HD pressure plate that holds the power...picture it as just puting MORE pressure on the stock disk then the stock pressure plate. It wont slip as quickly and will hold more power.

With a car under 300whp you can do things a couple different ways. You can get a Pressure plate that kind of aggressive and a stock disk and itll hold the power. Or you can get a stock pressure plate and an Aggressive Disk (I prefer this way as it feels stock but holds great). But either way choose one thats aggreessive and the other one stock or close to it and youll love the pedal pressure and itll hold.

I've got a clutchmasters unspring disc and HDSS pp. Its held pretty much everything I throw at it. I've had it awhile now and with only that stupid (I mean brilliant) washer thing that you invented and its fine. Plenty of adjustment.
It will slip some times on the street but that usually keeps me out of wheel-hop (even with just the VE it did this). Its probably irresponsible to get on it that hard on the street anyway. But I have no tranny problems and it even handled boost (touches wood). YMMV.

The JWT PP stretched your cable? Hmmm... I've been using one for years without that issue. Maybe mine is a different version?

If you eat cables don't buy oem. I know some people get SERs with clutch cable eating syndrome (CCES) but if you do remember you have crossed the point of diminishing returns. Buy them from NAPA, Autozone, or Baxter's. Whoever is cheapest. Until you solve the problem, and get good at removing the driver seat carefully.

Luckily mine don't do that.

no problems with mine either. I just installed my findaza flywheel and my jwt clutch was fine as was the clutch cable. it has a much softer pedal than my xtss setup I run in the turbo car.

I run an Autozone cable and havent had any breaking or anything. All these people with adjustment problems need to check there clutch arms. Ive never had an Adjustment problem EVER in the 4 B chassis cars Ive owned. Ive got the 1.6 cable
