Thread: Thinking about sellin the NX for an S2K or M3

I dont know what to do and would like some of your opinions. More so if anyone have one of these cars please chime in.

First off, I LOVE my NX. I have owned NX's about 7 years back. But Im wanting another car. A new project car. A different kinda car. Im thinking about selling the egg for a S2K or M3.

I have always wanted a E46 M3 and a AP1 S2000. But im leaning towards the S2k just because I want a fun car to drive,its a high revving 4 banger,relibility isnt an issue and its RWD. But all you find is abused ones and I want somethnig with low kms that isnt SILVER!lol

Now the Bimmer. Its got good looks,luxury and power! The engine is a smooth 8500rpm screamer with all the comfort of a lay-z-boy. But repair costs are killer and upgrading it wouldnt be cheap either.

Now the 240SX's are played out in my mind....everyone has one! MR2's are nice but i want front engine. And I want a japanese 4 cylinder for sure. If I were to go with either car I would be staying on the all motor route.

Please post if you or someone you know has had a good/bad experiance with either car

S2k Ftw!

S2000 is what im getting in a lil bit. Im keeping both my NX's though. They are both paid for and both have my blood sweat and tear in them. Just Buy the S and Keep the NX.

I would be more than happy to own either one of those cars.

ive had a E46 and they are lots of fun , they handle great and daily driving is a blast , but repairs do get pricy , and most parts are made of a hard plastic which usualy needs to be replaced at around 100k or theystart to crack.

The s2k is a great car , if i replace my 200sx it will be for a s2k. i say go with the s2k, i sold my bimmer for a G35 sedan black on black

Keep the NX, buy something new.
Looking at how FWD sr20xx wopered cars are selling, I would hope you would keep the NX and buy the other. Our cars are not getting much these days.

keep the nx for sure ,you will miss it,trust me.Save a little longer if you have to and get something else.
I dont care for the s2000,personally but its a great car for sure.
How about a z32? Even the na cars are fun.
Or a like 03 350z there are alot of deals on them.

i think you should get a Suzuki Swift GTi, if you want high revving, they rev to around 9k. ive been trying to research to give you some reason to look into finding one, but info is scarce. hit up some streetfire, has a couple sick videos.

I see you live in Canada. Any reason why you do not want to step up to a legit Silvia, Gti-R, Skyline Gt-R, Celica Gt-4, Familia Gt-R, Evo 1, Mr2 Turbo, FD3S, Supra RZ. The list goes on. There are so many japanese imports available to you that are older than your choices but offer more potential.

The imported JDM cars are probably cheaper than an s2k or the bimmer. Canada is finally hitting the golden age of japanese performance. For the next decade you guys are going to be getting some serious talent. Seriously the Evo 1-Evo6 is on the way for you guys. First Gen Subaru Impreza Sti's which in my opinion are the best of the Impreza's
