Thread: Need help with NXR2000

Was wondering if anyone could help me with my NXR 2000 not starting.


Iv had the injectors in Cylinders 3 and 4 changed due to them leaking petrol, i was told that it was the cause of the car not starting, they were changed but still the problem persisted.

I think its the computer, but mechanic is sure that it is not the problem.

Everything in the car has been checked electrical mechanical spark etc.

My question is does anyone know what could be causing this, is there a sensor of some sort or anything else I should be looking at ?

go to the junk yard get a 20 doller ecu and change it. what do you got to lose beside 20 dollers... then if that dont work go on the forum and sell the ecu for 60 dollers

Overlooked by many, I would do a quick check of the Neutral Safety Switch.
Notorious for causing starting problems!!

Then I would check the regular tuneup parts & settings.
Typical no start items are:
Plugs, dizzy, coil, resistor, Injectors, IACV, MAF, starter & battery. Any of these out-of-spec could cause starting problems. And all can be ohm/voltage tested for spec.
