transmission seal?
how can i find out what tranny i have? my passanger side seal is leaking where the cv axle goes in. whats the proper name for it? already ordered some and they were not the right ones. my old one does not have any part numbers on it so i dont know where to start. can anyone help me?

Well reading your user name it is a 95 200sx se-r right? Manual? If it is manual it should have LSD. You are looking for output shaft seals or axle half-shaft seals (same thing just different company names). Just go to your auto parts store and get them because they are only about $10 a pop. If you really want to you can put your axle and seal out and get the part number off the seal and take that number to your auto parts store to get the correct one.

the number on the seal i cant read most of the numbers are gone. i did order the input ones and they do not look anything like the one i took out

Aren't those nissan part numbers. Just go get an OEM Seal.

Also with LSD one seal is much bigger than the other. IIRC its the pass. side.
