^Very annoying lol. I'll probably just swap it out soon. Did you try changing the fluid? If so, did it help with the noise?
Did you switch to a different gear oil than you were using before? I want to say I started noticing the noise shortly after switching to Redline Heavy Shockproof. The b14 moves so little, that I really have no idea if this is getting worse or changing at all, it does still make the noise though. (notice this thread is from a few years ago)
I have noticed what Ashton said, all sr20s are pretty loud at idle with the gears spinning. It seems like some are louder than others... I wonder if it is a sign of wear on the input shaft bearing, but really isnt a huge deal for quite some time? Could be why many people destroy trannies while others do not (movement of the gear stack from the worn bearing, that is).
