Frontier question
Im working on a customers frontier rite now, equipped with tha ka24.
the cel was on,i scanned it.got po103,maf circit high.i checked voltage at tha maf at idle, under load, and koeo.all the voltages are within the specified range.but when you drive it,give it full throtle then try to stop it just stalls out.then has trouble starting.once its at idle its fine.half throttle/cruise is fine.but nail it and lift and it dies? anyone had experience with this before?
i know its not an sr,but its not really that different.

I have replaced my fair share of TB"s in the early Frontier. The Maf is part of the upper TB.

its an 02. i pulled the sensor itself out of the tb(2 small screws)
but i called my supplier and nobody sells just the maf.weird.
i regrounded the maf as per mitchell on demands specifications, and now it wont start and the iac is making noise wen the vehicle is at koeo.
wat the hell?

I would suspect a bad MAF. And yah you have to get the whole upper TB. But you can just swap the sensors once you get it.

I would find and try a known working MAF, reset the fuel trims and drive for a day. I'm guessing even though you read them within specs there is still a problem with the maf.

Also the KA, especially the later years are notorious for intake manifold leaks. Always seems to happen around #4 cylinder. This causes drivability problems just like you are describing. I've seen it on an altima as well as on my 98 240 I had. Good luck.
