So I went to the local tire shop today.....
I proceed to the gentleman behind the counter and ask him if he had any Falken Azenis for my 17 inch wheels on my egg (205/40ZR17 84W).

And the guy tells me, these words "I've got the next best thing!" He then wheels these out to me. I've never heard of these, I cry "BS."

Can anyone else shed some enlightenment on these tires? The offer is $70 a tire.

I know, I seem like I just came from "Noobs R Us" but I'd rather see if anyone on here has had them. I've already google and yahoo searched, I know they aren't comparable, however I would like to get the opinion of my fellow dash members before making a final decision.

I appreciate that though. lol

I blame the skyy vodka, the Cruzan Rum, the Smirnoff Rum, and the Passion fruit juice.

Thanks Rittmeister, and Swiss .

i put some sunny brand all season tires on an altima the other day and they were hands down the cheapest tire i have ever handled. this was a base model altima with 16inch steel wheels........the side walls of the tires were so flimsy i had to "air burst" the tire to seat the bead because they were collapsing on its self............only other car i had to do that on was a truck with over sized tires.

DO NOT BUY THOSE........CALL THEY GUY A DICK FOR TRYING TO PAWN OFF SOME OF THE CHEAPEST TIRES EVER MADE ON YOU! i would compair those to delta brand tires from walmart.

Lol. I suspected as much, there was a bit of sarcasm in my original post, but I actually did hope that I was wrong despite the googling and yahooing!

I made the mistake of walking into the place in a crappy part of Tampa dressed up in a suit (I just came from a kingdom hall (basically a church)) I'm sure this guy saw dollar signs and wheeled out those peices to me.

Then he told me he could get me any tire I wanted! lol

Thanks. You've confirmed my suspicions.

The guy is probably pushing sales on that tire/brand because he has it ridiculously marked up for maximum profit.

you will need at least a 5 mm spacer for the rears to fit that tire size and rim.....but thoos rims will look hot .. i had 17 ons my nx and it lookd good but it was soooooooooooo slow compared to my stockers.....but you will see....
