^I have this clutch kit right now BNIB for my other project. It should be good to hold 450-500lb of torque. It's says 414FT/LBS on the site though.

sweet, ill probably be switching the disk to a solid hub though but not sure yet, maybe after the one i have gets worn but right now its still brand new, less than 6 months old so yeah might just use it and if it breaks then oh well. But definely need a new pressure plate mine is soo worn it has a decent size lip on the outer edge of the surface. I dont think its holding anywhere near what i should be able to because of this, Alot of pressure lost because of it. Cuz even with my 285whp there were times where i was certain it was slipping a bit in the upper power band and in my top of 4th and into 5th gear. Then the pedal would get a soft feel for a bit which kinda gave it away then it would siffen back up.

So gonna change it out to be safe.

I got tired of blowing up act's & other brands. The twin disk is holding up pretty good so far.

I like the Jwt pressure plate and the 2000 disc. Don't forget to get an Andreas Tranny Bracket. It will do wonders.

i got a question since i dont wanna start a new thread because this relates. i have a 93 nx2kmy b15 clutch disk and jwt pressure plate started to slip the other day in the frist the second gear pull (sliped as soon as i went to second) i had to let go of the gas and punch it again to catch... my thing is this setup is about 4 to 5 months old. what gives i dont have that much hp. 2.5 ssac header 2.5 inch exhaust 3 inch hotshot cold air intake with jwt pop charger stage 2 bc cams findaza flywheel jwt pressure plate with b15 disk prothanes ultra spark plug wires ground kit cant remember if i have anything else.... future mods are the UR 4 peice pully set and outlaw spacers...

i was told that the clutch disk it good for hella more HP then i have and that i could even go turbo with the disk. so do you guys think the pressure plate is not holding?? or is it the disk.. also i can do a 40mph role and it will hold up just fine.its just a first to second gear pull....it does not slip all the time. usually when the car is already warm and been running for a while.. any thoughts.??

Never been unhappy with ACT SS in any of the cars I have done them in ...even highly moded NA SR's and KA's and they always seem to work great ... My track car setup is an OE Plate with an ACT SS Disk and I am really happy with it ... never had any slipage even after a 20 miute track day session in 105 deg heat !!
