OK I guess I should have been more clear on this....The hose goes into a hole in part of the bracket where one of the control arm bushings are.It just makes a turn down and into that hole. The hole is just in the bracket and if gas were to pour out (which it wont) it would just drip on the ground below the control arm.
It is temporary until I find a check valve, but thanks for your input.

Yeah,
I read a few posts here and there and I like this idea, too
I am definately gonna find a oneway valve for it.
Wonder where I might find one...hmmm

i know this is old, but i dont wanna make a new thread

does this throw any codes?

i removed my EGR on my 96p10 already & really want this gone.

is it just a removal & plug the intake bung?

we have yearly emissions here in my area of pa, but the place i go dont do visuals, just plugs in the ODBII connector

hey just keep the valve that switches the vacuum to the egr and bpt valve plugged in the harness with everything removed and you'll be fine, i have absolutely no emissions what so ever and i have no code because i left that plugged in, i think i even have an obd1 switching valve in there.

our ecus arent sophisticated enough to measure tank pressure unless its a 99 and later model ecu, all the canister holds for reburn and all of the emissions system in b13 and b14s is done mechanically, so no monitoring no warning devices just one switching valve that changes direction of port vacuum to get the job done, thats why when our egr's or bpt valves fail theres no check engine light, you wont even know unless the egr gets stuck open, most people dont even know that there emissions system is inoperable. hence one of the reasons why my b14 has absolutely no emission related components on it,

Depending the size of the vent line, im thinking of using fuel filter for a lawn mower to stick in the end of it.

Josh, Eggman did the same thing I did and put it in a hole that is available just below where line comes out at the firewall. This allows fumes to escape and they go under the car and out. You won't smell anything and the line doesn't pull in so nothing will get into the tank from the line either.

So if I read this right I can take it out of my pulsar swapped B14?

yeah, i understand that, I just want to put a little filter on the end, so nothing goes up it and clogs the vent line.
