PLease help me!

i know why everyone is jumping on him but the main thing you guys arnt getting is that he was asking a question which means he did not know the proper way to do it or what alternitives. i guess you found the way. depending on were everything leads it might be a pain to change the whole line.. but its the right thing to do. you can also gert a small piece and flare the lines and just stick some fittings in there for a temp fix

the point is that there is not really a safe alternative besides the proper replacement of the rubber brake hose.

What are you talking about I didn't do anything to no rubber hose? I nicked the hardline on the firewall, which will be replaced , but in the meantime I will be putting a 3/16th's union on it. And besides I have stainless lines coming off my brakes anyway.

ok lol I am following 2 different conversations then. At first I was thinking hard line then I saw someone mentioning rubber lines so I got a little confused.

woooooooooooow. no he isnt saying he wants to use a piece of rubber fuel hose. at the parts store brake tubing and metal fuel lines are the same thing. assuming you use the correct fittings and the correct size tubing i dont see what that couldn't be a way of doing it.

OK, guys I got a tube cutter and cut the bad piece out and then got a brass/copper (not sure what it is) union, put the ends on and the furline thingy on, then flared each end, and connected them. Pumped the brakes and guess what .......all fixed! No more leaks. I just have to bleed the whole system (including the rear) because the brakes weren't working still, so tonight I will be bleeding all four corners starting with the rear passenger side, then the driver side rear and so forth......
