It's what I have.

Disclaimer: I haven't installed it yet though. You may have to extend the oil pressure sensor wire a bit. Not sure yet.

That kit comes with a 1/8 NPT fitting for the block. The actual threading into the block is very similar but also very different. Its a 1/8 BSPT (or BPT depending on who you talk to). So no, I wont use their kit until they supply me with something I can use and not crossthread that hole.

Thanks That clears up any and all confusion.

This is incorrect. It comes with a 1/8 BPT fitting, exactly what is needed. Not sure where you got your info from.

If you're curious, here's where I compared the three oil feed options and decided on the GFD one: http://www.sr20-forum.com/gofastdepot/10187-turbo-oil-feed-line-kit-question.html
In that thread I also posted a link to a place where you can buy the correct adapter to adapt the oil pressure sensor 1/8 BPT threads to the "T" adapter's 1/8 NPT threads.

(FYI: BSPT and BPT are the same thing: British standard pipe thread - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )

I see the Custom Steel one would also clear with no problems. Thanks for the pic Benito.

Well that's news to me as I asked Marcos at GFD and he said it was NPT threaded. Also keep in mind I'm not slapping on a turbo kit to my DE. Its got 233k miles on it. More than I'd like to start boosting from where I'm at. I'm getting a DET at some point.

Marcos must not know what he's selling. I got it a couple months ago and it certainly has the correct 1/8 BPT fitting. I can't image the kit has changed any. He must have been confused.

Nissan uses British pipe thread for some reason. Most vendors don't know this.

Dude don't you wanna see how a turbo does on a 233k engine? I'm thinking about throwing a budget t25 on the 222k NX just to see what happens.

I routed my heater wire to right behind the grill until I can make a recptacle in the grill itself.

Agreed, most people don't have a clue and say, "Yea, this 1/8 inch NPT fitting is exactly what you need." NOPE. The second you screw that in to your motor is the second you ruin a block. It will cross-thread every time. IIRC it's the thread PITCH that is different isn't it?

The thought about turboing my DE had crossed my mind actually. But I want to have the JDM motor here just in case catastrophe ensues. It also seems like that would be alot more work as well.

Do you by chance have pictures of this? I'd like to find a place that is somewhat concealed but yet easily accessible to mount the plug end to.

yeah its the thread pitch. I think they possess the correct BPT part but they don't know what they have and say "yes its NPT" in ignorance.

Just boost the old motor. Most of the work is redundant and if it holds up for 18 months you have saved yourself. Engine swaps are pita. I'd rather strap on a turbo kit any day.

Ok this heater is based on 110volts system.

Does is say in the manual if it is 240volts compatible.

I skimmed the manual and it says nothing about voltage. =(
