My pistons? lol
I bought the pistons that are in my motor in a hurry, and there's always something that I've wondered since. They are listed as 9.2:1 for a DET with 45cc head. What does that mean for me lol? What is my actual compression? Here's the link for my pistons though it doesn't have much info.

i would think the same, the det and de head have the same combustion chamber

you should have 9.2:1 compression if you use the stock thickness headgasket and the head wasn't milled to much.

iirc de/det (non gtir) is 45cc, ve is 41.8cc and the gtir has something like 48cc.

should be the measurements of the combustion chambers in volume.

Back when I got them I bought some rings they said would hold nitrous well. I don't remember anything about them now, but they said that piston/ring combo would hold all the nitrous I could ever throw at it.

I also paid $500 for the pistons back when I got them lol. Good price now.

Well there is no piston that will "hold all the nitrous you could ever throw at it"... I am curious what rings you used as well.

Lol don't even remember what they're called Rodney. As I said it was all purchased in a hurry to get my car back on the road. The pistons are made by CP for Race Engineering to their own specs. Explained to them what I was doing and got the setup they reccommended.

Btw I know as well that nothing is impervious, just went with there beliefs at the time lol.

LOL. BTW I saw the car last week in front of Sav-A-Lot in Columbia. It actually sounded good. You make that car out to be a piece and I like it. Hit me up next time you go to the track.

Yeah I actually put a somewhat normal muffler on it. Our new shop is up from there btw. I'm REALLY wanting to get the car dyno tuned finally this year. Sometime in Feb/March. As long as 43 is taken care of as good as it was the end of last year, I'll be going on a constant basis like I used to years ago. It'll take a while before I can drive it worth a **** though.
