What about running the stereo with the car off?

If you want to run your car with the stereo off then go get a Yellow top Optima. This battery is for somebody who's into hardcore weight reduction. Itll hold a charge and start my car and is super lightweight compared to other batteries. Thats all I want it for. I have a basic cd player with four speakers and no subs or amps.

If you have a system, have AC or dont really have any other weight reduction...IMO there are better batteries out there and its pointless for you to buy this battery. But if youve already taken out your AC, your system, back seats ect then this battery is the next step.

I know every little bit helps. But if you still have all this other stuff in the car whats saving 20lbs and spending $100 on a battery gonna do? Not much...

i ran this with a/c and i've let my car sit with the battery and never had a problem with it, it is only a few months old though and have not really tried it in the winter since my car has been down

When I mention A/C im not talking about it taking away from the power of the battery. Im talking about weight.

I dont see the point in someone buying this battery unless they are REALLY serious about weight. If you still have AC in your car then IMO your not serious about weight. That means Its kinda pointless to get this battery. Why not go with a regular sized battery so that you can throw a nice sound system in the car also.

IMHO I back up Johnny 100% on this, I myself bought this battery a while back, and while it is decent, you really have to be on top of not leaving anything on without the car running, this battery does get drained fast. It's been sitting in storage for over a year now.

There's really no point in wasting $100 for a 15-20 lb reduction, unless you are pulling a Smoothdaddyfig.

Dont get me wrong I love my Oddesy PC680. But I also dont have ac or a system or anything else in the car thats not dealing with performance. Power to weight....

I honestly don't want weight reduction, I want weight increase for traction hehe.

Now the reason I wanted this battery is because of it's size and the fact that I could fit it and a filter ontop of it.

Vadim, heat rises. I never understood why all these guy routed there intake to the top of the engine bay. This it a simple way to route your T25 intake that will suck in cooler air when the car is moving. Stock T25 lower intake piece with an AEM Dryflow filter. I still have this if you want to buy it cheap...or you can just steal the idea. I ran this setup until I switched my turbo for a bigger one. Now on the bigger one I run a similar setup

I liked it because of the way I did my intercooler piping thru the fender, it made it alot easier to fit.
