Ok experts , I need your opinion. They are selling this car close from where I live, they are asking $2500. I went to see it yesterday and as far as I can tell the engine was replaced. I did not have the chance to drive it because the battery was dead. It has a scratch or big dent on the quarter panel of the driver side, like a another car hit it lightly, not a big deal. I did not see any rust. The rest of the car look on good shape. 137k miles, at least on the body.

The question is, if everything works, do you think is a good deal?

I would say it is a good deal. Maybe try and see if you can get a little off for the dent.

yea i you have the money go for it, ive only seen 3 b14 sers and 2 sels here in the past few years and none of them were for sale....id take mikos advice and drive the car, and do a good walk around inside and out, shaking your head at all the problem spots, and use that to negotiate price. They probably have a grand to play with in that ser. Workin at a nissan dealership here ive seen it happen too many times on peoples trades and it works like you wouldnt believe! trust me they will do almost anything to sell a car if they see you are serious about buying. and dont be afraid to leave, if they have your number they will call u in minutes because they dont want to lose a sale, happened to my girlfriend before she got a mile down the rd. when lookin at an xterra, and mazda 3, and her echo at 3 different dealerships. I hope this helps! Good luck man!
