I know B13's had the option but B14's were all PS. The thing with the B13's is that PS was standard on the SR20. The only option is the PS eliminator kit or using the $11.99 PS removal technique.

I have the PS eliminator kit and it works quite well. I did not want to just rely on the the belt and have no tensioner.

There is always the option of the electric hydraulic power steering pump.

There were even a few cars from the factory with them, like some civics and the older MR2s. In the future I may retrofit an EHPSP on to my own car from an MR2, or find a used one from a racecar somewhere. I like the fact that you could turn it off and not sap 10-15hp from the motor unless you are doing an auto-x or something.

I think a few guys have put the rack from the e-sentra on b14s before as well, it seems like something you are only going to want to do if the motor is out of the car. It is not a quick and easy swap.

I just got rid of the whole thing on my B14, chopped the lines and looped them. Then stretched a belt over without a tensioner.

Do you have a post on this? I have been trying to find out if it has been done before. Are the inner and outer tie rods the same length?

I have been wondering if the b13 manual rack would work on the b14 for a while now. I havent used my power steering for a couple of years now because there is a leak. I have got so used to it now, that I don't want it back and I do not want to just loop the lines.

I don't have a post, it's been a while. The b13s power rack has some good amount of adjustment IMO it would be the same for the manual rack. Just buy it and make it fit

I have looped mine and have no problems but i only used it for a couple of months. It seems a little sloppy but i dont know if it is in the rack or thats just the way it is.

I think i will pull one out at a junk yard and see what happens. The bushings are the same so i would think it would at least bolt in. I have the bump stop eliminator kit as well so i would think i could make it work.
