Or buy some, and spend as much as a mechanic would charge, but then in the future save a lot of $$ .

I can't imagine paying anyone hundreds of dollars for my car, especially after buying the parts them selves which cost a lot of money to begin with... hehe

I hear you on that. This guy I know is only charging me $80 bucks to change the axle and wheel bearing. Yes I could spend that $80 on some tools and do do the job myself. How much will a shop charge to take out and press in a new wheel bearing? If I do this myself, what tools will I need?
