so far i need:

tranny mounts
clutch pedal
????

Is this a P10?

If the new tranny is LSD you will need both axles(someone confirm this, but i am 99% sure). You will need a new tranny mount and if the cross member only has one mount on it (missing the front mount) than you will need a new one of those as well. I am not sure about the pedals, you might want to look into that. I would get G20 shift linkage just to be sure. There will be some wiring involved to bypass the neutral safety switch as well.

On a B15, the passenger axle was the same, drivers' side of the LSD tranny is bigger than the passenger side.

• Manual transmission from a P10 or a b13 SER
o The SER transmissions are all LSD transmissions and have a shorter gear ratio in 3rd, 4th, and 5th in comparison to a P10 trans.
o P10 transmissions you can get in either NON LSD or LSD. IIRC all standard G20s come with NON LSD and the G20t’s come with LSD transmissions.

• Axles apropriate to the transmission that you have chossen. LSD = LSD Axles and NON LSD = NON LSD Axles. (This should be researched in more depth as you can interchange some NON LSD and LSD axles depending specifically on the application)

• Clutch pedal assembly for a P10 (I used one off of a SER and it worked just fine. I did a quick comparison between the P10 and the SER assembly and the only difference was the angle at which the pedal jogs side by side.)

• Clutch Cable (If you are running a stock clutch, and don’t need a spacer for additional throw, get a P10 Cable. But if you need that spacer, get a SER cable as it is about an inch shorter and will fit better with less dramatic bends.)

• Shift assembly.

• Shift linkage

• Manual P10 cross member

• Manual P10 front, rear, and driver side engine mounts.

• Manual P10 front and rear engine mount housings.

• Clutch

• Flywheel

• Throw out bearing

• Possibly new flywheel bolts. (Some people say that there flex plate bolts are long enough and some say they are not. I Pulled mine out of my DET that came with a manual trans)

Someone can chime in if I forgot something..

DO NOT use the auto flex plate bolts like it says on that, go get the manual tranny flywheel bolst.

P10 specific parts I had to get was the driver side axle, crosmember(a couple of months after the swap was done). Biggest PITA is making the hole through the firewall for the clutch cable. I had to remove the dashboard to make it much easier.

Is it really worth it? I mean I want a g20, but they're all automatic

It depends on what you want and how long you have to work on it.

When i did my GA auto to SR manual swap i had a lot of time, a garage to put it in, and the want for a 4 door SER. When i did mine i had the whole interior out of the car, no dash, no harnesses, no brace, or anything in the engine bay either. To do the clutch pedal the easiest then you should take the dash out but that really is not that bad.
If you click on my project thread in my sig and i have pretty detailed pics on how i went about drilling the holes for the pedal and cable.
Or you could just wait and find a P10 that is already manual. And maybe even a "T".

^You gotta search hard and have your money right when they come around. I found one, but it wasn't in the color I wanted. I'm looking for the 5port "02" QT1 Aspen White Peral.

P.S. Song of the week is ridin"
