I don't know why people keep disputing it?? It has been proven over and over.....What else do people need to see???? Show me a dyno where bc2's out dyno s3's let alone s4's........

No one argued that BC's were better than JWT cams. I even stated that MYSELF! All I'm saying is that you shouldn't knock them.

I'm running a 3076R .82 A/R.

What manifold are you using for that Nice turbo??? I was thinking about one, but decided to try the holset hx35(ALOT cheaper and more in my budget), which will be going on this spring just have to find the right manifold......

Anyway I am sorry to everybody and apologize for making this into something its not.

My only thing was if he is looking for the most power he should probably look at the other cams and thats all.

again sorry

yes they do because they are a more agressive cam. My stg 2 at idel sound almost like s4 so I can't wait to play with stg 3s. I might dyno the stg2s so there can be a comparison of the two cams.

^My BC2's idle just like stock.

They def are a drop in cam. As far as i know mostly every cam is not perfect and you would gain some horespower with cam gears n e ways.

bottom line you wont get thoes numbers man. not without tunning at least. they are a great cam for the price. you will def feel the diffrence from your stock cams. I have a set of these and when i put them in plus 19 degrees my car was a diffrent animal. add in a 2.5 or 2.75 exhaust to your car + cam gears and it will feel better. add a tune after cam gears and the rest is up to you and the rest of your mods to get 160

^Same here. My car pulls real hard after 5K. My dad even enjoys driving the snot bubbles out of my car when I go to his house.

Listen man I had them in a my boosted b13 and they SUCKED and showed maybe a slight bump in power. I was running S3's before and should have just stayed with them because they owned the bc's too and for the record they were installed right. I also knew a few guys that had them in there n/a b13's and they were even worst. My best example of how inferior they are is my track times. I went from running 13.0-13.2's @ 108-111mph to 13.3-4's@ 104-106. Same set-up, same tune, same 60ft's, same track and same weather, etc....

And yes technical they are a drop in cam even though bc recommends s/r's and maybe alot of people running these w/o s/r's are getting some valve float up top, which I think is happening after looking at my dyno with them??? Who knows.... but from what i hear the s13 guys run these with cam gears and s/r's and do well, so maybe thats the formula, I don't know. I just know what they did for me and that was squat!

^Well I bought these cams from you and they showed me a bump.

^^^ ya that thread from g20 net is JUST what i was looking for.......heres a quick idea

FROM 95G_ATL from g20net

Dyno Chart...!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HERE IS A BREAKDOWN OF THE DYNO NUMBERS FROM BEFORE AND AFTER THE CAMS.
Your results may vary.

HORSEPOWER

rpm | w/o cams | w/cams

3500 78 70
4000 95 85
4500 110 101
5000 123 119
5500 131 131
6000 135 142
6500 131 150
7000 118 151
7500 105 150

TORQUE

rpm | w/o cams | w/cams

3500 118 107
4000 123 112
4500 130 119
5000 130 125
5500 126 126
6000 119 125
6500 107 123
7000 88 115
7500 72 105

Now you can see at 7500 rpm's I have a 45whp advantage over stock cams...WOW. But you can see that I lost 10whp at 4000rpm vs stock cams...ouch. It is the price you pay.

Same for torque. I had a 33whp advantage with cams at 7500 rpm...but lost 11 ft/lb of torque from 3500-4500 rpm. Again, not for someone that likes to avoid high rpm applications.

Oh, and anyone racing their G's without cams...or even a header....i've said this a million times, and these #'s don't lie. It is POINTLESS to shift at redline on a stock engine, even with a header. I probably would be shifting at no more than 6500 rpm's unless you have a great set of cams.

Enjoy!!

Yes, I know you did and you are happy right?? As long as your happy with them, then I am happy I sold them to you. I am done causing problems about these. I just like to tell people not to expect alot from them and thats all. Because of mine and many other peoples experience. I also say how can most people even comment if they have only tried one cam?

Again enjoy them and try to get some cam gears along with them to get even more power!
