As I said in your other thread Dan, they work. Im running Axxis pads that I ordered for a 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD on my AD22VF calipers.

So they are a lil big, i had to sand down one side of the pad a lil bit, just where they hook into the caliper is a hair to long.

But after that they go in, and they are way cheaper, i got a better set of pads, for a even exchange lol. And these are for a 91 talon.

Ya, I'm using the Hawk HPS pads on my car. Brakes awesomely. If it wasn't for this post I would have never been able to use them as it doesn't list NX as compatible!

the dsm pads are a little thicker, because the rotors are thinner. but after a few miles of driving it will wear in a bit. That's the only issue I've had.

I just checked RockAuto for the '91 Eagle Talon, and they have Beck Arnley Axxis Metal Masters on close out at about $17 and Axxis Ceramic (Ultimate?) for about $23.

so its the talon tsi right?

I would also like to know a source for the AD22 rebuild kits. I had a hell of a time finding the little pin slider boots the last time. Most places only want to sell you loaded calipers.

iirc the boots are protectors that are used in tons of cars. Take your boot to a parts store and have them look through a few packages. Likely something from a toyota car will fit.
