Gonna need more info, whats the car gonna be used for? If you have spare cash to spend, Willwood brakes are the way to go! If its gonna be a street car, which you listed is good enought.

Hey Nick. I left you a Vmail hope Xmas was good to you bro...
My 94 ser is gonna be a street car that I will take to track days. I am guessing I need the g20 calipers and larger rotors in the back just to have more stopping power...

If is just going to see occasional track days the setup you have is fine. I would go with a different set of pads myself but you are more likely to run out of talent before you do braking.

Well good then all I have to do is put the parts on. I drove happynoles car for an hour or so the other night and the NX brakes with the g20 calipers REALLY impressed me...

If you have a bolt on car as others have said I think your setup is sufficient and even more so when you swap out the pads @ the track. I run the 11.75" Fastbrakes kit but probably also run a 2871R.

does anyone know how the 11" stacks up to the 11.75" fastbrake kit..... i think i'm gonna grab some of the 6uL's for the january run but i don't think the 11.75' will fit with those wheels

your "said" set up will be perfect. nx breaks stop really good and with the better rotors and pads and ss lines itll be tuff.

stratton.

used calipers? i suggest getting a piston rebuild kit.........i did each caliper in 5-10 minutes a peice. wasnt hard. also get a hardware kit, this includes new shims and slider clips, allows your pads to slide in and out like new.

i have the exact same setup as you and i can tell you its fan-freakin-tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just replaced every bushing in my suspension, new ball joints, AGX's on stock springs all around, NX brakes and ultimate pads, goodridge lines, syntec dot 4 fluid. my car feels brand new and i dont think ill ever get "performance" springs.........im to happy with it stock!

I agree that the NX front calipers/rotors are all you need for street and occasional track use. Be careful about upgrading the rears because the last thing you want is too much braking bias at your rear wheels -- think about it.

Here is how I would recommend that you spend your money:

1. Upgrade your rear pads to Axxis Ultimates -- run these on the street and the track.
2. Buy some new rotors (just plain rotors -- no slots or holes) for the front and some track pads (e.g., Panther Plus or equivalent). Swap these in as a set on track days -- you can drive them to the track. But do not mix your track pads with your street rotors or vice versa as they will not be compatable compounds. Once your pads and rotors are bedded in, keep them together.
3. Get a good high-temp brake fluid and keep it fresh. I use Motul, but it has to be flushed frequently to keep the water out (which will boil and cause fade).

Your pedal should be rock hard after you swap your front calipers. If not, there is air in your master cylinder or brake system somewhere. You just have to find it.

This approach has served me well on the track driving a VE with bolt ons.
