Bolt Size!?!?!
The reason I'm replacing my stupid engine is because some moron put too large a bolt into the block and split it prior to me purchasing the vehicle last month. I need to know the CORRECT size, thread pitch, and depth of the two bolts that hold the motor mount bracket to the front of the engine on a 2001 sentra SE in order to do the job right.

I'm doubting anyone has this information but I thought I'd give it a try.

It sounds more like the bracket that mounts to the front of the engine more than the dogbone mount. Please clarify.

why dont you make things as easy as possible and remove ALL variables.........simply go order the hardware you need from your nissan dealer. for hardware it may be pricey but it wont be more than $10 and there will be no question that it is correct.

yeah, just go to the dealer and get that bolt. or go to a junkyard and pull the bolts off a g20 or any other car that has the sr20 in it. they're all the same bolt for all years for that mounting bracket.

But if the large bolt cracked the bolt hole in the block. How will putting a smaller bolt in a cracked hole fix the problem? (it will be too small).
