Thread: Gas leaking like a water facet

So my girl inna the other car tell me that my car in leaking gas from the rear, I get out and look and gas in just drippin' in three different spot, I was so shocked and worried. I don't. Where to begin, can someone explain what's going on ?

thats a real odd question, first thing i would do is take it off and inspect it maybe its just got old and started leaking... maybe a loose hose of some sort. i dont think anyone can "really" help you much more then that. good luck! did you notice bad gas miles?

the thick hose running from the filler cap to the tank is usually first to perish. Like my95ser said, get under there and take a look.

ok, yea 30 dollars gas down the drain, I'll check the hose on my day off

...have you played with the fuel pump ? when removing fuel pump there is a gasket .. its like a big ring depending on what car you got. it might have broken, been improperly put back on
this all started after you filled up the car correct?

Just be glad gas is $1.89 now!!

yeah look under there and see if you can find the source. To be honest, it may not be a bad idea to replace all or most of them hoses so you don't have a problem in the future.
