Fig was awesome. The car was loud as **** with the side exit exhaust.

Oh, the female was a neighbor that was young, and SDF spotted her in a thong bikini. That thread was like a million pages long. He never did show us the thong, but he did pull some sneaky through the blinds pics.

The rest of my weight reduction consits of no a/c inside the bay at all, none behind the dash at all, no front or rear bumper supports, no power steering, no abs or sunroof (base model se-r) No exhaust on the car other than the header at the end of the 2.5" secondary, no heat shields under the car. Anything in the bay that didnt need to be there was removed. No unnecessary brackets on the motor.

My weight without me in the car with the needle almost on the E line. so about 1.5 gallons left in the tank i came out at 2080 lbs.

I still want to get the carbon fiber hood good for about 32 lbs, a 9lb battery to replace my monstrous duralast gold, good for another 33 lbs, once i get a daily driver i will remove the back seatbelts and all the back panels. Im gonna leave the door panels though. Should be good for around 20lbs maybe more. Then lastly i eventually want to do the quarter windows and rear window in lexan, good for probably around 40 lbs. So all in all i can easily be sub 2000 lbs without doing anything crazy like door cutting or no dash, door panels, just basic removals that if ever needed i can put right back on.

But then once i turbo the ve motor the weights gonna go back up a bit being the turbo kit and intercooler are quite heavy compared to an 18lb header.

Awesome ...my track project has all the reductions you stated, plus I have a FRP hood and trunk.
I am trying to get to 1900lbs w/me(130lbs) i it.You have given me hope

I believe his car once done was in the low 1900 range, which is redicoulously light. He had a full exhaust too, had he been all out and just ran open header he could have saved another 40lbs plus and been sub 1900. I want to get mine right at the 2000lb mark and ill be happy.

Again he is a great guy and was an all out sr lover. I wonder what he is up to these days.

Car did not have a full exhaust. It came off the header into a small resonator and dumped right in front of the passanger side rear wheel.

yeah i just saw he had a side exit, lol, but still thats probably a good 25 lbs worth of muffler and piping so either way, i dont think youll be able to get down to 1900 with you in it, figgy's car was at like 1920 and he cut door frames and everything from i remember, He went all out with his weight reduction, i still want mine to look clean but light as hell.

I wish I could get my B14 down to around 2400lbs without sacrificing anything. I drive my car nearly every day and I need my heater and power steering. And it needs to be quiet too. I wonder if the light fly, wheels, hood, and battery would get me even close. I already took ac out.

that should do it coheed, with a/c removed and those things you should be right at 2400 without you in the car.
