x2 on the headlight swtch, i had a 93.5 G20 and it went out. I was told its very common in the P10s.

go to the junkyard and find one and replace. I thought it was fuses at first too.

The head lights work fine though, and all the sidemarkers front and rear work as well. The funniest thing is when you push on the brakes the dash lights come on. The brake lights just quit working today.

Very clean and the battery is semi new. I checked it and its putting out about 13.2 volts.

Is there maybe a wire getting pinched up near the brake pedal itself?

The brake lights stopped working after you changed the trunk lid brake bulb. Are u sure the replacement is the correct bulb and fully seated properly? Based on your description, your problem is still bulb related. Everything with your dash lights is simply a by-product feedback from the exterior light circuit.

I recommend removing all bulbs in the rear including any bulbs replaced. Then only install the hi-brake light. If no brakes lights, replace the bulb or change the brake switch. But if hi-brake light comes on, continue installing bulbs on only one side at a time while checking the brakes after each bulb until you find the bad bulb.

Sometime, even new bulbs are bad unfortunately due to sub-standard quality from Mexico & China manufacturing.. I have found bulbs that will light up as normal but was causing circuit to go completely screwy. Dont be surprised if the bad bulb is an old or new bulb that is currently lit!!

I put a fuse in it on sunday and that held for a couple days. I had all my lights. The brake lights still work but the fuse went last night for the taillights. I replaced it today and it went again in a couple of hours. So its definately something with the tailights. Any where to start on the probelm? Is the wires for this barried under the interior? If so what side? Both?

If you are blowing the fuse, its in the bulbs.. Perform the steps in post #16 above and find the bad bulb..

you have a wire expose somewere in your harness that runs through all your lights ... james had the same exact problem he kept on blowing fuses and all his lights would not work.. the break lights would work only when you step on the breaks but would not light up when you turn your lights on.... he found out that he had a bunch of wires expose in the harness that runs through all his small side lights. he taped them all up and wraped everything and never had the problem again
